Ukraine’s GDP Growth Accelerated by 2,1% in 2021

According to the Ministry of economy, GDP growth in this period was due to industry, agriculture, transport and construction


"In January-July 2021, according to the Ministry of Economy, the consolidated production index (CIU) increased by 1,3% (by 1% in January-June 2021, down 6,6% in January-July 2020, respectively), GDP by 2.1%," said the Ministry of economy.

At the same time, the Ministry of economy calls the frequency, duration and severity of possible new quarantine restrictions, deteriorating foreign economic conditions on world markets, as well as the full launch of Nord Stream-2, which may affect deviations from the expected transit rates.
