Ukraine’s Wheat Exports Hit 10 Million Tons Mark

Since the onset of the 2023/24 marketing year, Ukraine has achieved a significant milestone by exporting nearly 9.98 million tons of wheat, as reported by Barva Invest analysts citing the State Customs Service’s data

This accomplishment underscores Ukraine's pivotal role in the global wheat market amidst fluctuating global market trends and varying demand from exporters.

Current market prices for wheat are as follows:

  • March Chicago wheat contract (ZWH4) stands at $5.96/bushel, marking an increase of $0.08/bushel.
  • March wheat contract for Euronext (EBMH4) is priced at 209.5 €/ton, up by 4.25 €/ton.
  • For the Danube port, DAP (11.5% protein content) wheat is quoted at approximately $175+/ton.
  • Deep-water port prices range between $167-174/ton.

This export volume reflects the ongoing dynamics in the global wheat trade and the impact of market conditions on pricing and demand for Ukrainian wheat.
