In 2004, the Air Force and Air Defenсe Forces were merged into the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Today, Air Forces pilots fly fighters, combat bombers, transport aircraft, and operate drones. The Air Force also includes the Military Air Force and Air Defence Forces.
