Ukrainian Developers From “Audubon Bioscience” Have Attracted $350.000 Investments for Cancer Research

The company intends to develop tests that will detect cancer in the early stages

This is the first company to build an innovation team with 100 employees and offices in many countries worldwide. The founders of the company are Ukrainians and a significant part of the team. The company is currently valued at more than $10 million.

“Our goal is to make a significant contribution to the fight against cancer, which killed more than 10 million people last year alone. Today we are pleased to announce that 763 investors from all over the world have entrusted us $348.500” said Rostyslav Semikov, co-founder and CEO of Audubon Bioscience.

The company says this is their first crowdfunding experience. The initial target was $250.000, but the limit was increased due to high demand. The funds raised will be used for operating expenses and expanding the team for the further development of Audubon Bioscience, and will also allow Ukraine to join the modern developments in the biotechnology industry, adds marketing director Andrii Shekhovtsov.

The team plans to begin development as soon as possible, meaning tests for diagnosing cancer in its early stages will be available in the coming years. Detecting cancer cells will be carried out by detecting such cells in nucleic acids in body fluids.
