Ukrainian Embassies and Consulates in 86 States

Dmytro Kuleba announced 6 more embassies to be established

According to the press service of the Ukrainian embassy, by December 1, 2021, 129 foreign diplomatic missions are functioning in the system of the Ukrainian diplomatic service. These are:

  •  86 embassies;
  • 1 Ukrainian embassy branch;
  •  21 consulates-general;
  • 14 diplomatic representations;
  • 5 permanent representation offices;
  • 1 representation office;
  • 1 mission of Ukraine.

The head of the state-supported the foreign affairs Ministry’s offers to open other diplomatic missions of Ukraine abroad. Thus, it is planned to open a general consulate of Ukraine in Mumbai (India), Wroclaw (Poland), Sighetu Marmatey (Romania). It is also important to have an embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Ghana and the Republic of the Philippines.

There is a specific goal for sending a Ukrainian representative to the Philippines. This step will strengthen relations between countries and promote Ukrainian initiatives in international organizations like the League of Nations. Ukrainians are especially attracted by trade with this country.

The embassy in the Republic of Ghana is in line with the state’s commitment to gradually strengthening Ukraine’s position in Africa.

Mumbai is a huge business center. There are also enormous opportunities for Ukrainian businesses to attract investment to Ukraine, and we are going to deal with it, says Dmytro Kuleba.

All these will help protect the interests of the Ukrainian country, its business, and its citizens.
