Ukrainian Fish Exporters Gain Access to Kuwait Market

Ukraine has successfully opened its fish and fish products market to Kuwait, marking a significant milestone for Ukrainian producers

This announcement follows closely on the heels of the opening of the Chinese market for Ukrainian honey producers earlier this week, showcasing the Ukrainian government's active efforts to expand its agricultural exports.

The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection confirmed the new export opportunity, emphasizing the ongoing negotiations to facilitate Ukrainian goods' access to foreign markets. Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, highlighted this development as a key component of a broader strategy aimed at creating global opportunities for Ukrainian businesses.

A specific health certificate for the export of various aquatic animals from Ukraine to Kuwait, including sea and river fish, molluscs, crustaceans, and echinoderms, has been made available on the official website of the State Production and Consumer Service. This move is expected to bolster the Ukrainian fish industry by opening up new avenues for international trade and cooperation.
