Ukrainian MFA Held Meetings With Foreign Diplomats

Dmytro Kuleba met with the Saudi Arabian foreign minister and French politicians

For Ukraine, it is more important than ever to improve relations with other countries. Therefore, large-scale political work and important meetings are held every day. This week, Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba held two meetings with foreign partners.

On 26 May, the remote meeting was held with French foreign minister Catherine Colonna. During the conversation, Kuleba and Colonna opened the issue of Russian aggression and sanctions to stop the war. So France has declared its readiness to increase the sanctions pressure on Russia.

"We agreed with the need to strengthen the sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation, including the oil embargo, and discussed granting Ukraine the status of a candidate for EU membership," the minister of foreign affairs of Ukraine wrote on Twitter.

On May 25, Dmytro Kuleba met with the representative of Saudi Arabia — the foreign minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan. During the conversation, an important link in the defense capability and security of civilians of Ukraine was touched upon. Saudi Arabia can help rid itself of Ukraine’s fuel crisis.

Recall that the shortage of gasoline and oil in the country appeared as a result of rocket attacks by the occupiers.

The foreign ministers also considered ways to unblock food exports from Ukraine to Arab and African countries.
