Bogdan Gnatkovsky and Sofia Vishnevskaya founded this startup in 2018 Propertymate is a platform that allows buyers of primary residential real estate to find all the information about new developments. Developers and agents can sell real estate faster through contacts with interested clients.
The startup is based on artificial intelligence, which helps to analyze data about buyers and real estate. Propertymate predicts which properties will be most interesting for customers. Now Propertymate operates in Austin (Texas, USA), and thanks to the investments of Pragmatech, founders plan to scale to two more cities - in Houston and Dallas.
"Despite COVID, the US primary real estate market is booming. We have felt an even greater demand for our service, and now, thanks to investments, we plan to start operations in Dallas and Houston within the next 6 months. Our goal is to be the best platform for finding, comparing and buying new properties in the USA,"
- said the founder of Propertymate Bogdan Hnatkovsky.
The company said that the Propertymate was focused on real estate agents previously. However, as the number of partnerships with developers increased, more and more developers became interested in direct communication with buyers.
At the onset of the pandemic, developers cut marketing costs and began looking for alternative sales channels such as Propertymate. The platform takes a commission from them only with customers who have actually made a purchase. The number of clients has grown 65 times since March 2020, including major real estates players like Lennar, D.R. Horton, Taylor Morrison, and Pulte Homes. Among the agencies using the platform are the largest US market players, such as Keller Williams, eXp Realty, and Compass.
"Even the conservative US real estate market is changing thanks to user-friendly digital services like Propertymate. I am convinced that Pragmatech's investments and our expertise in global markets will help this platform quickly scale business and become the new standard for the industry,"
- adds Pragmatech founder Evgen Sergeev.
