On September 11, the Main directorate of intelligence of Ukraine announced the results of a special operation to return Ukrainian drilling rigs in the Black sea that had been under Russian occupation since 2015. Ukrainian special-purpose intelligence officers returned the Boiko Rigs to Ukrainian control: 4 drilling and gas/oil production platforms Russia captured and used for military purposes.
The Russians tried to defend their positions on the platforms Petr Godovanets, Ukraine, Tavrida and Sivash with the help of a Su-30 fighter. However, the invaders were defeated, and the Ukrainian flag was installed on the towers again.
And a bonus: the MDI detachment returned to mainland Ukraine with souvenirs — a batch of unguided missiles for helicopters and the Neva radar system, with the help of which Ukrainian forces will be able to control the movement of ships and ships in the Black sea.
