On December 2, Maxim Yurkov, director of legal affairs at NPC Ukrenergo, said in an interview that the company was preparing a legal framework for collecting damages from Russia. As of today, Russia has destroyed more than $2 billion worth of equipment and facilities and will soon receive proof of this.
According to Yurkov, the company daily records real damage and destruction by Russia. Similar work is being done concerning the damage caused to the energy structure of Crimea.
Soon, a legal process will be launched to recover damages, which already, at the beginning of December 2022, amounted to ₴70 billion and continues to grow thanks to the efforts of Russia.
