Together, these wells yield 390,000 cubic meters of gas per day, with outputs of 270,000 cubic meters and 120,000 cubic meters, respectively. This announcement was made by the press service of the Naftogaz Group.
The wells were drilled in the same field, on the same layer, and almost simultaneously, earning them the nickname "twins." Both wells have similar depths, at 6,200 meters and 6,225 meters.
"Previously, the drilling of such wells lasted from two to three years. These were ready in 8 months. Only by systemically improving technological processes, we give a better result and strengthen the energy sustainability of Ukraine," said Oleksiy Chernyshov, head of Naftogaz.
Since the beginning of the year, Ukrgazvydobuvannya has commissioned seven new highly productive wells, including these twin wells.
