"Ukrhydroenergo," in collaboration with Canadian company AECON and American firm AECOM, has signed a roadmap for the construction of the Kanivska Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP). This agreement marks a crucial milestone in the development of Ukraine's hydropower sector.
During the working visit, representatives from AECON, AECOM, and Ukrhydroenergo, along with Ukrhydroproekt, held technical meetings to discuss key aspects of the Kanivska HPP project. Topics included project financing, modernization of project decisions, and documentation adjustments to enhance the station's efficiency and safety.
The delegation also visited the construction site of the Kanivska HPP and inspected the ongoing reconstruction of the main equipment at the existing Kanivska HPP. The roadmap signed at the conclusion of the visit outlines the next steps in the partnership, setting the stage for further collaboration in Ukraine's hydropower development.
