Unilever Initiates Construction of New Factory in Kyiv Region

Unilever, a global leader in the supply of food, home care, and personal care products, has commenced the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Bila Tserkva, located in the Kyiv region of Ukraine

The announcement was made in a company statement and reported by the Ukrainian News Agency.

The factory, which is being established within the "Bila Tserkva" industrial park, will occupy a site area of 4.2 hectares. It is designed to have a production capacity exceeding 5,000 tons per year. The facility will focus on producing personal hygiene products, including shampoos and shower gels, for renowned brands such as Dove, Axe, TRESemmé, and Clear.

Completion of the construction phase is targeted for the end of 2024, marking a significant investment in the region's manufacturing capabilities. Unilever has allocated 20 million euros towards the construction of this new facility, reflecting the company's commitment to expanding its operational footprint and supporting economic growth in Ukraine.

Unilever, which boasts a global workforce of 127,000 employees and reported sales of 59.6 billion euros in 2023, established its first representative office in Ukraine in May 1993. This new factory underscores the company's ongoing dedication to meeting consumer needs and contributing to local communities where it operates.
