USAID Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman Visits Kyiv to Assess Impact of U.S. Support

Isobel Coleman, Deputy Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has arrived in Kyiv.

The U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, announced her visit on the X social network.

"Welcome back to Kyiv, Isobel Coleman! I look forward to the opportunity to see with my own eyes how USAID's support to Ukraine has further strengthened its resilience to brutal Russian shelling and is contributing to its economic recovery," stated Ambassador Brink.

In November 2023, USAID and Ukraine's Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure signed a memorandum of understanding under USAID's "Energy Security Project" (PEB) to enhance the sustainability, efficiency, and competitiveness of Ukraine’s district heating sector.

On April 8, USAID provided 30 mobile boilers to KP "Kyivteploenergo" to help address emergencies caused by Russian attacks, reinforcing ongoing support for Ukraine's infrastructure resilience amidst the ongoing conflict.
