USAID Donates 20 More Grain Trucks to Boost Ukrainian Agriculture

USAID enhances Ukrainian agricultural capacity by donating 20 additional grain trucks, aiding in the transportation of 169,000 tons of grain

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has bolstered Ukraine's agricultural sector by donating 20 more grain trucks to four Ukrainian agricultural entities. This latest contribution is part of a broader effort to support the transportation and collection of grain within the country.

To date, USAID has provided a total of 58 grain trucks to Ukrainian enterprises, including the recent 20 and an earlier donation of 38 to eight other agricultural businesses. These trucks have significantly increased the capacity for grain transportation, enabling the movement of 234,500 tons of grain over the course of a year.

This support plays a crucial role in reducing transportation costs for Ukrainian farmers and enhancing the efficiency of grain collection and distribution. By strengthening the logistics infrastructure, USAID’s contributions are helping to secure global food supplies and support the resilience of Ukraine's agricultural sector during challenging times.
