In early February, the Ukrainian legal and tax regime Diia City began operating. The regime immediately caught the attention of large state and foreign corporations. According to the ministry of digitalization, the new tax regime has already expressed a desire to enter 77 companies.
On February 15, it was reported that South Korean electronics and appliances manufacturer Samsung wanted to join the program. The company is a leader in the introduction and commercialization of innovative technologies in the markets of South Korea, America, and Japan. In 1996 Samsung Electronics branch was opened in Ukraine. The organization has created a large number of jobs for Ukrainians. Currently, about 1.400 people work in offices throughout Ukraine.
After accepting the application, Samsung officially became a resident. IT-company will receive flexible conditions of employment and separate procedure of interaction with state control bodies.
Note that such a step as the creation of a separate legal electronic regime for the industry is a modern solution. Thus Ukrainian authorities emphasize the importance of the IT industry and the creation of comfortable conditions for work in the country.
