On June 17, Joe Biden called Volodymyr Zelenskyy to announce US financial support personally. First of all, we are talking about a $1 billion defense package. Package Included:
- Artillery;
- Coastal defense weapons;
- Ammunition for artillery and advanced missile systems.
In addition, Ukraine will be provided with a humanitarian package of $225 million. This money will be used to provide Ukrainians with drinking water and food, medicines, as well as housing, and basic necessities.
"The courage, resilience, and determination of the Ukrainian people continue to inspire the world. And the United States, along with our allies and partners, will not waver in our commitment to the Ukrainian people fighting for their freedom," Joe Biden.
