Usyk: the WBO International Champion Again 

On the 26th of August, the Ukrainian boxer defeated Dubois and confirmed the title of joint world heavyweight boxing champion

The battle between 2 famous boxers took place in Wroclaw. Oleksandr Usyk, from the first round, had an advantage over Daniel Dubois. In round 5, the British boxer hoped to win because Usyk could not get to his feet for several minutes. However, the referee recorded a blow below the waist, in the thigh. Therefore, the battle for the title continued. Oleksandr Usyk confirmed the title of unified world heavyweight boxing champion for the 2nd time, knocking out Dubois in round 9. So the gong sounded, and the judge announced the early victory of the 36-year-old Ukrainian.

"I dedicate this match to my Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine!" Said Oleksandr after the victory. 

Before that, there was another Ukrainian in the ring during the undercard before the fight between Usyk and Dubois. Ukrainian Denys Berinchyk met with Swedish boxer Anthony Yigit. The fight lasted 12 rounds. However, according to the jury, Berinchyk won an unequivocal victory. Thus, another Ukrainian boxer defended his champion title at WBO International this evening.
