During his visit, he plans to launch the activities of the format of the Associated Trio. The leaders of the three countries will sign a declaration of the Associated Trio summit and hold a joint meeting with European Council president Charles Michel.
In May, Ukraine together with Georgia and Moldova joined the Associated Trio, which will intensively cooperate on European integration. At that time, representatives of the parties stated that in this way they demonstrated their European intentions.
The Associated Trio is the message that there is no alternative to European integration for the three partner countries, and there is no alternative for Europe either because they must take the three countries as a serious project for peace and prosperity in Europe.
Zelenskyy will also take part in the Batumi International Conference, along with Georgian president Salome Zourabichvili, Moldovan president Maia Sandu and the president of the European Council Charles Michel.
