Volyn held an online meeting with the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry to present the region and discuss practical cooperation with German federal states. The dialogue focused on investment promotion and longer term partnership projects.
The Volyn side was represented by Olena Behal, head of European integration and international cooperation, and Andrii Tkachuk, deputy director of the regional economy and investment department. They outlined priorities for joint work in economic development, education, innovation, local governance, and sustainable community growth.
The regional team stressed interest in deeper ties with German partners and in building stable channels for joint projects that can attract capital and technology to local businesses and communities.
The meeting also featured a presentation by Tetiana Pylypovych from the NGO Perspektyva Zhinky. She introduced the CHYN NEXUS: Emerald Trail initiative, which combines environmental projects, digitalization of cultural heritage, and social rehabilitation for veterans as a platform for international cooperation and investment.
