The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to move forward in almost all directions. The country's defenders are pushing back the occupiers in the Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. According to some sources, the Russian invaders have to retreat from Kherson on foot in order not to become "easy prey", and the Ukrainians are waiting for their army for complete liberation from the invaders. Analytical agency Def Mon reports that Ukraine has already liberated more than 75.000 km². This represents 50% of all territories occupied between 2014 and 2022.
According to the estimates of the United States general and head of the Joint committee of state chiefs, Mark Milli, more soldiers were killed in the Russian-Ukrainian war than official sources say. He believes that the Russian army has lost at least 100.000 soldiers. But the data of the general staff of Ukraine show the indicators less. According to calculations, in the 261 days of the war, Moscow sacrificed in the war with Ukraine:
- 79.400 — personnel;
- 2.814 — tanks;
- 5.696 — armoured personnel vehicle;
- 1.817/393 — artillery systems/MRS;
- 205 — anti-aircraft warfare systems;
- 278/261 — aircraft/helicopters;
- 1.501 — UAV operational-tactical level;

- 16 — warship/boats;
- 4.259 — vehicles, fuel tanks;

For the Ukrainian military, the defence of Bahmut, Donetsk region, remains challenging. Russian soldiers can not win street battles and enter the city, so for several weeks in a row, they have been destroying it with missiles. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not surrender their positions. So, during the day, the enemy suffered the greatest losses in the direction of Bahmut.
