“We’ll Never Be Brothers”

Ukraine has terminated a contract with the Russian Federation on airspace

29 years ago, Kyiv and Moscow concluded a treaty on air transport and cooperation. Also, 30 years ago, the governments of Ukraine and the Russian Federation signed a joint document on the principles of cooperation in the field of production and supply of aviation equipment. But on 31 January 2023, it was reported that Ukraine had terminated these 2 treaties due to Russian military aggression. This decision was made by Ukrainian deputies at the meeting. The representative of the cabinet of ministers in the Ukrainian parliament, Taras Melnichuk, confirmed the termination of two treaties concerning the air industry.

This means that the distance between Ukraine and Russia is getting bigger. It means that the poem We will never be brothers by the Ukrainian poetess Anastasiia Dmytruk becomes real with each day of the war. A poem about the difference between the Ukrainian and Russian people was written in March 2014, when Russia illegally annexed the autonomous republic of Crimea.

Recall that news about the airspace of Ukraine increasingly appears in information flows. Recently, Rayanair began recruiting Ukrainian pilots and flight guides to restore his work in Ukraine.
