What You Should Know About Russia’s War Against Ukraine

Deputy minister of defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar spoke about 5 things you need to know about this war

  • This war is obviously a losing one for Russia, no matter how long it lasts;
  • We were prepared for this war as far as our capabilities allowed us;
  • This is not just a war. This is our historical mission — to defeat the eternal enemy. Now we are at the peak of our strength and unity. There is a chance to finally put an end to the imperial ambitions of the horde;
  • According to the law, the strength of the Armed Forces is 261,000, of which 215.000 are military. They protect 1800 km of the front and 42 million people. In wartime, mobilized persons are attached to these 215 thousand. Remember these numbers when you write posts and comments asking why you are being mobilized if you have never held a weapon in your hands. Military registration specialties are taught from 5 to 15 days. And today, for the defense of the state, everyone who is mobilized is needed;
  •  This war will continue for some time. The larger the goal, the more effort and time it will take to achieve it. So get ready for the road to victory.
