To protect staff from possible death from Russian shelling at the workplace, the restaurant chain has suspended its operations in Ukraine. However, this is a temporary measure: the equipment of all restaurants remained in place, and the staff was not fired.
In such a difficult time, all Ukrainians need shock doses of endorphins, and one of the sources of joy is not to cook dinner but to order delivery from McDonald's and relax with the whole family. With concern for the needs of the citizens of Ukraine, the government of the country conducted a study on the resumption of McDonald's and concluded that Ukraine is ready for the return of the fast-food chain.
"With the start of a full-scale invasion, the company, like many others, suspended the operation of restaurants in Ukraine for security reasons. But we at the MFA are convinced that now there are conditions for the resumption of their work, therefore, we are actively urging them to return," the minister of foreign affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.
From the same source, it became known that the connection with the Ukrainian office of McDonald's and, further, with the American one has already been established. There is no official response from the general office yet. However, according to unconfirmed information, McDonald's will start feeding and delighting Ukrainians again in mid-August.
