Why Is Renewable Energy Better than Fossil Fuels?

Renewable energy has been the most demanded alternative source in recent decades. Today, renewable energy clean and environmentally friendly

Alternative energy is renewable and will always be around while fossil fuels are depleted. Solar, wind, hydroelectricity, geothermal energy, etc. are all renewable sources of energy. On the other hand, fossil fuels take millions of years to form and thousands to extract from the ground. They are finite resources that one day will run out if not already exhausted.

Renewable energies also aren't damaging to our health or environment like fossil fuel burning is. They don't release greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N20), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon mon (CO), leading to air pollution in the form of smog which is particularly dangerous to children, the sick and the elderly. Most renewable energies don't produce any GHG emissions. Renewable energy technologies are becoming cheaper to set up while fossil fuel prices are rising, making renewable energy more competitive with time.

Renewable sources are also better for jobs creation than fossil fuels because renewable energies can be used anywhere, creating opportunities in developing countries that will not need to build significant infrastructures to make renewable energy work.
