World Bank Maintains Forecast for Ukraine’s GDP Growth at 3.8%

The World Bank has left the forecast for the growth of Ukraine's gross domestic product in 2021 at 3.8%, according to the World Bank's report "Prospects for the World Economy" for June 2021

According to the organization's forecasts, Ukraine's GDP will grow by 3.1% in 2022 and 2023.

According to the World Bank, the global economy is expected to grow by 5.6% in 2021, the fastest rate of recovery from a recession in 80 years, mainly driven by a strong recovery in economic activity in several large countries.

“Despite encouraging signs of global economic recovery, the pandemic continues to exacerbate poverty and inequality among people in developing countries around the world,” said World Bank Group President, David Malpass.

Note that in March, the World Bank raised its forecast for Ukraine's GDP growth in 2021 from 3% to 3.8%.
