It is reported by crypto exchange Kuna, referring to research Crystal Blockchain. Foreign companies, ordinary people and philanthropists donated around $134 million to meet the humanitarian needs of the Ukrainian people. For 1 year and 5 months, Ukrainians endured many humanitarian disasters: lack of drinking water/electricity/heat and flooding due to the invaders' explosion of the hydroelectric power plant. Also, $91 million of cryptodonations came to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In total, from February 24, 2022, to early July 2023, Ukraine received $255 million in various crypto markets:
- USDT – $83 million;
- Ether – $79 million;
- Bitcoin – $41 million;
- Polkadot – $8 million;
- BUSD – $7 million;
- Others – $7 million.
The largest number of donations were made in March 2022. It should be noted that in Ukraine, more than 6 million people own cryptocurrencies.
