Online dialogue with American business leaders
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held an online conversation with leaders of major US corporations and business associations to discuss expanding capital investments and strengthening partnerships with Ukrainian companies.
According to Zelensky, the talks focused on support for Ukraine’s economy amid the ongoing war and the creation of new opportunities for international investors.
Ukrainian technologies attract American interest
The President highlighted that Ukraine:
-
continues systemic reforms and progresses towards EU membership,
-
is actively developing domestic drone production,
-
supports more than 300 technology companies open to international cooperation.
He underlined that dozens of international corporations have already shown readiness to partner with Ukrainian businesses.
New investment fund for reconstruction
Zelensky reminded participants that an investment fund for Ukraine’s reconstruction was recently launched, with initial contributions of $150 million.
“I thank all companies that invest, supply equipment and technologies, and become stronger together with Ukraine,” Zelensky stressed.
Strategic importance of US support
The President emphasized that international investment and business partnerships are critical for Ukraine’s economic recovery and long-term stability. He also reiterated that only strength and unity will push Russia to negotiations.
Earlier in the day, Zelensky met with representatives of the American Jewish Committee, congratulating them on Rosh Hashanah and noting the importance of continued US support — both at the federal level and in Congress.
He separately thanked the American people, President Donald Trump, and members of Congress for maintaining unwavering bipartisan assistance to Ukraine.
✅ Bottom line: By engaging American business leaders, Zelensky seeks to turn Ukraine’s resilience and innovation into a platform for foreign investment, making international capital a driver of both economic recovery and strategic security.
