Zelensky expressed his gratitude for Denmark's ongoing support since the start of the full-scale war, highlighting their contributions in military, financial, and humanitarian aid.
The President provided an update on the war situation and the needs of Ukraine’s defenders, praising Denmark's role in strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities. "We are grateful to Denmark for the first batch of F-16 fighter jets, which are already protecting Ukraine from Russian missiles," Zelensky said.
The discussions included the implementation of the bilateral security agreement signed earlier this year in Lviv, along with expanding cooperation in weapons production. Zelensky also thanked Denmark for its commitment to Ukraine's reconstruction, particularly through its patronage of rebuilding efforts in Mykolaiv and the surrounding region.
