Today Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Helsinki and met with the president of Finland, Sauli Niinisto. The meeting announcement states that the parties will discuss Ukraine's opposition to Russian aggression. Prime minister Sanna Marin, minister of foreign affairs Pekka Haavisto and parliament speaker Petteri Orpo will participate in the talks. The broadcast from the presidential palace is scheduled for 1 p.m. m. A joint press conference will follow.
After the joint working lunch, the Nordic-Ukrainian summit will be held with the participation of the prime ministers of 5 countries: Finland — Sanna Marin, Sweden — Ulf Kristersson, Norway — Jonas Gahr Store, Denmark — Mette Frederiksen, Iceland — Katrin Jakobsdottir.
Summit participants will raise the topics of Ukraine's integration into NATO and the EU and the implementation of Zelenskyy's Peace formula. Zelenskyy will be able to talk with each of the summit participants.
