On May 19, the 3-day G7 started in Hiroshima. According to the Security and defence council of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy will join the meeting online. Other sources report that the president will arrive in Japan in person and on the way there will make a diplomatic visit to Saudi Arabia.
This year's summit will discuss the following topics:
- Regional affairs — Ukraine.
"The G7 will continue to strongly promote sanctions against Russia and supports for Ukraine."
- Indo-Pacific affairs.
Additionally:
- Nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation;
- Economic resilience and economic security;
- climate and energy;
- food/health/development;
- Gender, human rights, digitalisation and science and technology.
We remind you that last week Zelenskyy held a number of meetings in European countries and, representing every Ukrainian, received the Orde de Carlemany.
