Zoos During the War

Russian atrocities apply not only to Ukrainians but also to our fur brothers: pets, cattle, and zoos

The state, animal rights activists, and activists are working on the welfare of our animals. Four-legged friends are transferred for evacuation to safe regions or other countries.
On March 4, animals from the Kyiv zoo were carefully transferred to Poland: 6 lions, 4 tigers, an African wild dog and capuchin monkeys. Some of the animals will be transferred to Spain and Belgium in due course.

Ukrainians massively pick up stray animals from the streets to take care of them and protect them from war.

Kennels with elite dogs and cats distribute animals to loving families for free.
