The US approved an unprecedented military aid package for Ukraine 

The Washington Post reports that the American presidential administration and Congress are preparing an announcement regarding a major aid package for Ukraine. America wants to give Ukraine $10 billion dedicated to the first tragic anniversary of the beginning of the struggle against Russia. The new package should cover the need for military assistance and provide direct budgetary support. The publication reports that the next major funding of Ukraine in the context of the war will be announced next week.

February 24 will be exactly one year since the beginning of a full-scale Russian invasion of the territory of Ukraine. The Congress notes that in recent months the opposition of the parties in the East of Ukraine does not give advantages to any side, Russia only destroys villages and cities. But the US believes that the recent approval of large amounts of military aid will help Ukraine to drive the occupiers closer to out from the alien country.

It should be noted that the United States of America has provided Kyiv with one of the largest financial and military assistance since the first days of the war.
