The Ministry of defence of Finland published information about Ukraine's next package of military support. Sauli Niinisto has accepted the proposal of the government council for the provision of military equipment and equipment for a total of €28.8 million. The total value of all military packages from Finland has already reached €189.2 million.
"Ukraine's defensive operation is still ongoing, and the need for defence equipment is great. We will continue our support," the minister of defence Antti Kaikkonen.
The package includes equipment that takes into account the needs of Ukraine and equipment that has already been transferred to Ukraine from other partners. The timing and routes of transfer of equipment are not disclosed for security reasons.
The resident of Niinisto also said that in 2023 Finland will continue to participate in the British mission of training Ukrainian soldiers to work with Western equipment. In August 2022, Finland sent 20 military instructors on an educational mission.
