The states announced their intention to allocate funds for military aid to Ukraine and support for Ukrainians who are on the territory of Great Britain

On July 4, Boris Johnson announced on Twitter the negotiations with the first minister of Wales Mark Drakeford, during which the cooperation of the state to support Ukraine and its citizens on the territory of the Kingdom was discussed.

"The Welsh government has contributed £35m to our military support for Ukraine, and Welsh families have taken in 3.000 refugees. Good to talk to Mark Drakeford just now about how we can continue to work together against Russian aggression. Diolch, Wale," Boris Johnson.
Also, on July 4, Mark Drakeford addressed the citizens of Wales and shared his plans regarding the Ukrainian issue.

Boris Johnson spoke about Scotland's significant contribution. The country allocated $78.5 million for military aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and humanitarian aid to Ukrainians affected by the war.

"I have just spoken to the first minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, to announce the success of the UK's cooperation in support of Ukraine. I thanked the Scottish government for its contribution of £65 million to increase UK military aid to Ukraine to £2.3 billion and efforts for 6.000 Ukrainian refugees," Boris Johnson.
