$2.5 Bln US Presidential Support to Ukraine

On January 19, MoD the USA published the contents of the 13th equipment batch of Biden's administration

The website of the US Department of defence published data on the 13th package of weapons that the country is transferring to Ukraine as part of Biden's drawdown of security assistance for Ukraine on August 4, 2021. The $2.5 billion package includes items requested by Ukraine, heavy equipment, air defence systems, and 2 brigades of armoured transport.

The total package according to MoD the USA:

  • Ammunition for NASAMS;
  • 8 Avenger air defence systems;
  • 59 Bradley IFVs with 590 TOW anti-tank missiles and 295.000 rounds of 25 mm ammunition;
  • 90 Stryker APCs with 20 mine rollers;
  • 53 MRAPs;
  • 350 HMMWVs;
  • 20.000 155 mm artillery rounds;
  • ≈ 600 precision-guided 155 mm artillery rounds;
  • 95.000 105 mm artillery rounds;
  • ≈ 1.800 120 mm mortar rounds;
  • Ammunition for HIMARS;
  • 12 ammunition support vehicles;
  • 6 command post vehicles;
  • 22 tactical vehicles for TOW weapons;
  • HARMs;
  • ≈ 2.000 anti-armour missiles;
  • Over 3.000.000 rounds of small arms ammunition;
  • Demolition equipment for obstacle clearing;
  • Claymore anti-personnel ammunition;
  • Night vision devices;
  • Other spare parts and field equipment.

According to the Pentagon, since the beginning of the full-scale Russian war against Ukraine, president Biden's government has transferred more than $27.4 billion in military aid to Ukraine.
