22nd Meeting of “Ramstein” Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine Scheduled for Today

On Monday, May 20, high-ranking representatives of defense agencies from the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine, commonly known as the Ramstein format, will convene for their 22nd meeting

During the meeting, participants will focus on the ongoing conflict initiated by the Russian Federation in Ukraine. They will also discuss strategies for continued support and the provision of military aid to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities.

Previous Meeting

The last meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine was held on April 26. During that session, the United States announced its largest military aid package for Ukraine, totaling $6 billion.


The Ramstein format has become a crucial platform for international coordination and support for Ukraine's defense efforts. With almost 50 countries participating, the meetings aim to provide comprehensive assistance to Ukraine amidst the ongoing conflict with Russia.
