In 2021, the Ministry of health and the World Bank were the organizers of training on the provision of medical care for emergencies and patient injuries. This year, the second training was launched, explicitly designed for doctors who reanimate wounded soldiers and civilians affected by the war. During the training, certified international programs were used, and the training took place in 2 stages: the theoretical part online and the practical trainings. The first 237 doctors from Dnepropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Kirovograd, Sumy and Chernihiv regions took part in the training. The overall plan is to teach 25.000 doctors.
"In turn, I consider it the state's task to ensure the conduct of exercises of emergency specialists, which will increase the effectiveness of assistance and the number of lives saved, including among doctors. A large-scale project is starting in Ukraine, within the framework of which 25.000 ambulance workers will undergo training," the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada committee on national health, medical assistance and medical insurance.
This educational activity is extremely important for a country where people suffer from injuries every day, and traumatic injuries are urgent.
According to the Ministry of health of Ukraine, the trainers this year were experts from the All-Ukrainian council for resuscitation and emergency medical care, which is part of the EUSEM (European Union of Emergency Physicians) and is an ambassador of the ERC (European Resuscitation Council).
