During the "European business summit 2023", 41 world-famous corporations offered jobs and training for refugees from Ukraine

On June 18, the Tent Partnership for Refugees took place on the European business summit 2023 platform, bringing together 41 companies ready to support dozens from Ukraine and other countries.

  • Accenture. They plan to hire 16.000 refugees for 3 years.
  • Accor Group. Will provide vocational training for 1.500 women from Ukraine. Training available in France, Germany, Switzerland, and Spain over 3 years. 
  • Adecco. 50.000 refugees for 3 years. 
  • Amazon is going to hire 5.000 refugees over 3 years. 
  • bp. 70 refugees, 3 years across its European offices: France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and the UK. 
  • Cisco. Training for 10.000 Ukrainian refugees, 3 years.  
  • Duni Group. Hires 50 refugees, including Ukrainian refugee women, over 3 years in Sweden, Germany, and Poland.
  • ESS Group. 165 refugees, 3 years in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway.
  • EWL Group. 35.000 Ukrainian refugees. Jobs in Poland, Czechia, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, and Romania. 3 years.

  • The Body Shop. Training and jobs for 200 refugees, 3 years.
  • Unilever and its Ben & Jerry's. Training and jobs for 1.000 refugees, 3 years across France, the Netherlands, and the UK. 
  • Adidas, Blackstone, Hyatt, L'Oréal Group, The Kraft-Heinz Company, and Starbucks EMEA together committed to hiring 1.750 refugees over 3 years.

"With no end in sight to the Russian invasion of Ukraine – and with the European Union welcoming millions of Ukrainians – it's imperative that refugees are offered longer-term inclusion and hope through integration into the labour market," Margaritis Schinas, vice president of the European Commission.

With the commitments that corporations have made, they will not only strengthen their staff but also give refugees an opportunity to earn more than 2 billion per year.
