429th Day of War

Russian full-scale losses in Ukraine continue

Over the past seven days, Russia’s war in Ukraine has slightly changed its ineffective statism. However, again, events on the front were not in favour of the Russian Federation. In just one week, Ukraine managed to make the first offensive in the southern part of the country. According to ISW, the Ukrainian defenders successfully attacked the left (occupied) side of Kherson. At the same time, the successful conclusion of the war by Ukraine can be only with the operational support of the West. Analysts believe that if the allies continue to delay arms deliveries to Ukraine, Russia will have time and resources to accumulate power. But at the moment, Russia is only able to bear losses – between 21 and 28 April, the Russian army lost almost 4.000 soldiers. In total, Russia lost:

  • 189.460 — personnel;
  • 3.694 — tanks;
  • 7.181 — armoured personnel vehicle;
  • 2.905/543 — artillery systems/MRS;
  • 294 — anti-aircraft warfare systems;
  • 308/294 — aircraft/helicopters;
  • 2.467 — UAV operational-tactical level;
  • 911— cruise missiles;
  • 18 — warship/boats;
  • 5.819— vehicles, fuel tanks;
  • 353 — special equipment.

As usual, Russia is avenging its defeats to the civilian population of Ukraine by killing children and maiming adults. On April 28, the Kremlin army managed to take the lives of 2 children, doctors are fighting for the lives of several more. During the full-scale invasion, Russia killed 471 children, and 952 children suffered various degrees of injury.

But every Ukrainian is ready to continue the struggle for independence. The world joins Ukraine. Czech president Petr Pavel and Slovak president Zuzana Caputova arrived in Ukraine the morning after the massive missile attack.
