On October 6, the Ukrainian coordination headquarters for the treatment of POWs reported the return of 64 bodies and fragments of defenders who died during the defence of our country. It is known that with the help of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the bodies and fragments of bodies will be handed over to forensic experts for identification and thereafter — to contact the relatives of the victims. In total, for 2 years of work, it was possible to repatriate the bodies of 1.893 Ukrainian defenders.
Heroes will be buried in their native land with dignity. However, among the dead may be missing and captured soldiers, which will steal the last hope from their families. Eternal glory to the heroes who save our world with their lives.
Ukrainian authorities and representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross participated in the repatriation operation. Ukraine also sent to the aggressor the dead soldiers from the Russian Federation.
