During the start of the Ukrainian counter-offensive and immediately after Prigozhi's mutiny, Reuters/IPSOS made an online poll about whether the US citizens are ready to continue supporting Ukraine. 1.004 people participated in the poll, including 400 democrats and 383 republicans. The results showed that the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian army increased the number of Americans in favour of further arming the Ukrainians: 65% in June against 46% in May. Of these, 81% are democrats, 56% republicans and 57% independents.
76% of Americans consider the US assistance to Ukraine a demonstration and to China and other states "the will and capability to protect our interests, our allies and ourselves." In addition, the poll showed that 67% of republicans and 73% of democrats in the next presidential election will support the president, who will continue to provide military assistance to Ukraine and support Ukraine's inclusion in NATO.
In the 16 months of a full-scale Russian war against Ukraine, the United States has transferred more than $40 billion in military assistance to our country.
