Due to the positive development of the COVID-19 morbidity level, 8 regions will soon pass into the green zone - Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zakarpattia, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi and Chernihiv.
“Now almost all the regions are in the yellow zone. The Cherkasy region is the only one in the orange zone in terms of the degree of infection detection. There are also some areas that can go green in epidemiological safety", the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal said.
On May 15, the quarantine map was updated: the Cherkasy area remained “orange” and the rest of the area was yellow. Compared to the number of people infected at the peak of the disease, the number of people infected has been reduced by more than half.
Shmygal assumes that the adaptive quarantine in Ukraine will last until August.
