Russia has personally sent Valery Gerasimov, chief of the general staff of the Russian armed forces, to replace Dvornikov. According to the Bloomberg investigation group, Gerasimov is at the origins of the war. The decision to attack Ukraine is made in a close circle: Putin, Gerasimov, Shoigu, and Patrushev. As you can see, Shoigu recently suffered a heart attack, and Gerasimov was sent to die in the Kharkiv region.
According to the military-analytical group Defense Express, such a chaotic replacement of the perpetrators of the attack on Ukraine is evidence that Russia's military vertical is not happy with the results. Accordingly, the Russian military leadership wants to centralize the course of military events. From this, we can conclude that Russia's subsequent manoeuvres are doomed to failure, and we can roughly calculate the period of final failure.
On April 26, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated in a daily report that the Russian "army" was carrying all the remnants of its military luxury to the Izium area: "The 68th army corps of the eastern military district, part of the airborne troops, in particular, two BTGs from the 76th airborne assault division were put into battle." We remind you that the Izium direction is not strategic but only operational and tactical. Thus, Russia is trying to compensate for the lack of military skills by increasing fire against Ukraine and involving heavy artillery in the body of general Gerasimov.
Here may be 2 conclusions: either Russia plans to achieve significant success in the Kharkiv region, or the Russian military command has failed.
