According to the Embassy of Ukraine to the United States, the bipartisan document regulates the United States and Ukraine partnership within Europe.
"A bipartisan bill entitled "Transatlantic Telecommunications Security Act" has been submitted to the United States House of Representatives, which provides, inter alia, for a partnership with Ukraine.
The draft law "Transatlantic Telecommunications Security Act" envisages the creation of coalitions of democratic allies and US partners among Central and Eastern European countries to counteract global challenges, in particular from Russia and China in the sphere of communications.
The draft law also envisages assistance to countries such as Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, and other Western Balkans in restoring and strengthening cross-border communications", reports the Embassy of Ukraine to the United States.
The bill was sponsored by 22 congressmen, including Marie Kaptur, a representative of the Ukrainian Coconus, and Adam Kinzinger, a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee.
