The new salary of at least ₴20,000 ($712) for doctors and at least ₴13,500 ($480) for nurses is accrued in most primary care facilities funded by the medical guarantee program.
This week, the National Health Service transferred almost ₴2 billion to institutions in January. These funds will be directed to 1969 facilities that provide primary care.
According to the minister of health Viktor Lyashko, in the coming days, the salary for January should go to the accounts of medical workers.
The minister reminded that a decent level of salaries for doctors is a joint task of the state, local authorities, and the management of the medical institution. After all, the correct organization of all processes and the rational distribution of funds within the hospital allow you to motivate staff financially and at the same time develop the medical institution.
