“Agricom Group” Invested $2 Million in Business Development

Over the past six months of 2021, "Agricom Group" has invested about $2 million in business development. Part of the funds is directed to developing a plant to produce cereal flakes

This was announced by the co-owner and executive director of the agricultural holding and the new president of the Ukrainian agricultural business club, Petro Melnyk.

"In 2021, we adopted a new strategy, according to which we plan to invest about $20 million in the development of processing in Ukraine over the next five years. Over the past six months, we have invested about $2 million. Now we are in the process of building a production warehouse. I hope we will participate in the opening by spring or closer to summer," he said.

In addition, in 2022, the agricultural holding plans to release three new product lines at a new production site with an area of 6 hectares in the Chernihiv region. The management of the agricultural holding sees the second and third stages of production in the future. "These are not cereals. We will actively cover new products' appearance on the shelves," Melnyk emphasized.

According to Petro Melnyk, Agricom Group is implementing the relevant plans thanks to a successful season in terms of financial indicators and an increase in sales of products.

Agricom Group is a Ukrainian agro-industrial group specializing in producing and distributing food products. The group is a leader in the production and processing of gluten-free oats.
