Svetlana Tykhanovskaia supports Ukraine. According to her, Ukraine is not fighting for its own country, Ukrainians are fighting for democratic values and independence. Belarusians also want this. That is why the opposition to the Belarusian dictatorship took several measures. It is going to open a representative office of the Belarusian opposition in Ukraine. This will help to resume cooperation with the Ukrainian government and people.
Moreover, Tykhanovskaia, during the two months of the war, collected evidence of the crimes of the Belarusian dictator Oleksandr Lukashenko against Ukraine. An opposition politician visited Washington. There she met with the speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States, Nancy Pelosi, Congressmen, and the National Security Council members. She gave American representatives official data confirming the participation of Belarus in the war against Ukraine.
"These are massive confirmations of missile launches from our territory, movement of Russian equipment on the territory of Belarus. This is internal information about some internal orders to deploy various Russian military equipment on our territory. Yes, people have been collecting this information throughout the war period. They are well documented, and we have given this evidence to the government of America. I’m lobbying for Ukraine because if Ukrainians ask for certain equipment, military assistance should be provided because Ukraine is fighting not only for its state," Svetlana Tykhanovskaia told the US government publication The Voice of America.
The Belarusian politician also gave America a list of countries and companies that help the dictatorial Belarusian regime circumvent sanctions.
