The package will also include ammunition, fire countermeasure radars, several aerial surveillance radars, additional Javelin anti-tank missiles, as well as anti-tank weapons.
"The United States will support our Ukrainian partners and continue to provide Ukraine with weapons and equipment for self-defense," Joe Biden.
The decision to provide arms to Ukraine has been submitted to Congress. If so, the weapons will be delivered to the battlefield within weeks. Another 3 weeks will take Ukrainian soldiers to train with the new American equipment.
Russia has begun to threaten the United States that supporting Ukraine is indirect participation in the war. At the same time, Putin was reminded that until February 24, he was directly and publicly warned of the consequences of the attack on Ukraine.
"We are doing exactly what we promised. Russia brought this upon itself by launching an invasion of a sovereign country from its own territory," Jonathan Finer, deputy White House national security advisor.
