At Easter, 130 POWs Returned Home

48 of them were considered missing until today

April 16, on Holy Sunday, the exchange of prisoners of war took place. 130 servicemen returned home: 92 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 20 employees of territorial defence, 11 representatives of the National guard, 3 Ukrainians from the border service, 1 from the Navy and 1 from the State special transport service.

As always, many of the employees have injuries that they received while in Russian captivity.

38 participants of the exchange operation are still considered missing. Therefore, this Easter will be special for 48 families — their children returned to them when the chance to see them even once was critically small.
